2. Purpose of the site

The site serves to inform patients, families and healthcare professionals about Von Hippel-Lindau syndrome, to connect members of the community and to advocate for patients' interests in Serbia.

3. Site content is not medical advice

All information on the site is educational in nature and does not constitute medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for a professional medical examination. For specific health decisions, always consult a qualified physician. More details are available in the Medical disclaimer.

4. Copyright

All content on the site - texts, photographs, illustrations, design, logo - is protected by the copyright of the association, the author, or the rights holders who provided the content with permission. Reproduction, distribution, or modification without written consent is not permitted, except in the following cases:

• Quoting for educational and journalistic purposes with clear attribution of the source
• Personal use (saving, printing for your own needs)
• Sharing links to pages on the site

5. Content shared by users

If you share with us your personal story, a photograph, a quote, or other content intended for publication:

• You warrant that you have the right to share that content and that doing so does not infringe the rights of others
• You grant the association a non-exclusive permission to publish the content on the site and in other materials of the association, solely for the purpose of informing and raising awareness about VHL syndrome
• You may withdraw your consent at any time, and the content will be removed within a reasonable period

6. Links to external sites

The site contains links to external resources (e.g. VHL Alliance, VHL Europa, Sanity documentation, websites of pharmaceutical companies). These sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content or for their privacy policies.

7. Donations

Donations to the association are made voluntarily. Details about account numbers, payment methods and financial transparency are available on the How to help page. Donations are not refunded except in the case of an error or an explicit request in accordance with the law.

8. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as-is". We strive to keep the content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. The association is not liable for any damage arising from the use of the site, nor for decisions a user makes based on information from the site.

9. Changes to the terms

We may amend the terms of use from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. By continuing to use the site after changes are made, you confirm your acceptance of the new version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. In the event of a dispute, the competent court is the court in Belgrade, unless otherwise prescribed by law.
